Feb.19. Friday Fine weather (but cold) we devoted the morning at the office to having pictures taken - all sorts of views. It was rather fun - J.G. insists I shall pose with him every time! We are to move out & let the N.Y. Life in there offices Apr. 1st. Lunched down town at Sibley's (with Vanderbilt

the other day when it stormed - and we had quite a nice time! - The afternoon was very busy - (making up for this morning) Felt pretty bad by night - with Neuralgia - a chillblain - split fingers - general used-up-edners - &c. Feb. 20. Sat. Slept pretty well and felt better - I took my camera along this morning - it was so fine & the river so interesting - Spent a busy day for a lady who doesn't feel "first Chop". There is a war going on in Korea - but this journal isn't for general information - and I've entirely skipped the big Baltimore fire - $250000000.00 worth - on Feb 7th & 8th. We had 13 Mail Chutes burned in it. Went over Meta's a little while tonight, to see proofs of the twins
& Theo's pictures.
