where the Clover Club had a collar and stock sale (bought some) Helen, Chattie & the bride, Lilian, were there and we all had supper together and then went down to the gym and saw a game of basket ball and some drilling &c. (by Miss Ford and Miss Babson) Quite like old times. Helen is far from strong, I see. Hurried home to "figure" &c. as usual Saturdays. Dec. 13 Sun. Storm predicted today - but it just turned cold. Read "Cracque o' Doom" (which I'm going to give to Nellie) and after 4 Papa and I went over end called on Frank and Lillian in their new little house, which is very cozy and pretty. Also went over to Avondale Park a few minutes & saw Chat & Papa & Mama Davis - Fell down together, as we were starting off - but nothing serious, I made some apple and celery salad for supper when I got home (They liked it) and then read. Dec. 14 Mon. Cold day. Our last cooking lesson this term. Made apple tapioca (good) & Zaza made blanc mange. Went to Bausch's prize photo exhibit upstairs - fine. Had a long chat with Titlow.
