This a quaint old house, now a (Oldroyd) museum full of Lincoln relics and I went in with Mother far enough to see the room where he died - and left her there for an hour or so which she enjoyed. Meanwhile I went over to the New National Theatre and got seats for tonight. Afterward I met Mother at the hotel and we took the car up to the Library to see the Rochester papers (Mrs. Weaver's trial and take a cursory view of the Library by daylight. We were fortunate enough to see the Representative reading room this time - and the quite different aspect of the whole beautiful building by daylight. I was quite im-
