Kodak. Then we went on up the path (at the left) and up thro'
the real wood and across a stone wall and out into a beautiful road
& Hill on up past more woods - real country - and finally to the
tip - top - where the "standpipe" is and where the wood views are very gorgeous. You can see Cambridge
towers, Bunker Hill - the hills of the Newtons -
Miss Hayes' school &c. &c - Many lakelets and
ponds. All the way back the best view lay in front of us and I did
enjoy the walk After dinner I took another one - with
Alice alone - down "Jason
Street" (parallel with Bartlett) and to the
beautiful town Library which is a gem - with carved oak and stone,
plants, paintings and statues and a most delightful and restful
spot. Then we went over and saw Nan's room - where she does her good work of straightening
round shoulders &c. and then up to the hall where Alice holds forth as
