Nov. 20 Fri.
Lunched down-town and shopped some today. No "Perfects" tonight - partly on acct. of the
Rogers and partly because Kate Davis is home and the girls can't
come. We finished the "Lightning Conductor" tonight. It
is a very entertaining automobile story.
Nov. 21 Sat.
Still cold but fine. Grace Bingham
and Mr. Flack are trying to got me
to go horse-back riding out there(!) I suggested
Thanksgiving day (some time ago) and of course now I
can't go, but I
hope they will. They both like it much.
Papa took me (on press tickets) to see
a regular sort of a David Harum play at the
National tonight. "York State
Folks" - cats and children and country stores and lots of local
color. It was very entertaining (tho' I was very tired) Mr.
& Mrs. Armstrong sat near & I saw
Lura & "Marie" &
Miss H.
Nov. 22. Sun.
A gray day. I kept more or less busy with various things till we
went-
Father, Mother and I - to a late
dinner at "Hillmans".
Harriette
was there and was as nice as ever and Con and
Edith, too, were most charming and
