The Rogers' girls' mother died very suddenly tonight while they were getting ready to go to the High School Reunion. Nov. 7. Sat. It was very sad. The Perfects sent a dozen big white chrysanthemums today. I stayed down again - was busy answering J.G.'s congratulations - J.W.C. spent the day at Geneseo or Avon. Nov 8. Sun. Much pleasanter today. Went to Claude's to dinner Edith and Con had stopped in - on a walk - & E. was playing the banjo - It is Con's 39th birthday - E. made him a cake!
