Apr. 6. Mon.
Last Monday we had our Perfects again - after a long
postponement. It was at Helen Orcutt's and she forgot
the score cards & made them out on paper after we got there! I
had a good time - but was disgusted that Charlotte
didn't go. Edith
Joiner &
Edith Scott are getting very chummy,
lunching with each other every day. I'm glad Edith
has "someone to love" at last - but they seem almost
too much alike for that sort of thing. Mae &
JohnApr. 1.
have moved out of their little house and the Mac Arthur's
have moved up to
39 Birch Crescent - Lura has
moved her room up to the Cutler Bldg.Apr. 13
It rained a long time and today we have had about the 4th
or 5th lovely
day - thermometer between 40° & 50°.
Mrs. Bingham
rode "Dolly" down. Last week - no, week before Edith Andrews stopped here over night on her
way home for
Easter and she is to stop over for dinner this week, coming
back. She is as good as engaged to Frees Snyder.
Is rather shocked at Con's engagement
- in view of his devotion to her last Spring and Summer and is
having fine times at College, being "rushed" etc.
