before starting home. Monday - a week ago, was our first "Perfect" meeting at Davis's. We had a "bread- and-milk supper. Edith carried off our new pin (a gold crescent with 4 pearls) for 2 weeks & Nellie got the booby prize - a carved paper knife Miss Orcutt supplied, and we have asked

her to join. Tuesday night, Char & Claude had their first dinner party. Papa & Mama & Con & I - a delicious dinner and all beautifully served - coffee in the library &c.&c. Mr & Mrs. Ramsdell came in later, with a pitcher of cider. It was all very nice.

Saturday I was invited to lunch again - all by my lovelets- and of course enjoyed it again. The weather continued fine. Friday noon I rode my wheel nearly all the noon - and Saturday night rode
