Last night Edithcame up to supper and spent most of the evening with me. Last week one night Con took me to the Elks Kermeos
- rather slow and funny in spots. The weather last week was gorgeous but this week it's rather “soft.” Mother gave me eiderdown for a wrapper! Dec. 29 Sun. Went down to Edith's this p.m. and staid to supper. Mrs. Wray and Delos were there also Teddy the dog, two squirrels and a bran new lot of gold fish. The boys were enter- taining and we had foreign preserves (from the “Pan”) and California fresh olives &c. with our tea. Got my feet wet and a fine cold coming home. On the way down stopped at the
