the evening I went over to Mary's on my wheel and we went and
called on Mabel and Mary Rogers. There father has been
and is still very sick – but is getting better. Mabel was as funny

Wednesday we - Papa, Mother & I - took advantage of the
fact that
Claude and “Hans” were both away and that there was a new
“Rochester Special” train on and went up to the “Pan” again at 7:45 a.m. We met
Gertrude &
Mr. Braley at about eleven and had
a real nice time – saw the Indians – which were fine (The “return
check” to the sham battle is a rubber stamp on your hand!) and heard
“The King of the Midway” and many others “bark” in the
Midway. Saw Cora Beckwith swim and
stay under water 2 min & 35 sec and saw Bormer, the trained
