[1900] to Charlotte Wilkinson. He is very happy and so is she and so am I - that will make the dear boy well if anything 25th Tues. Christmas day. A nice, happy day for all of us. Con here to dinner. Mother & I busy all p.m. with “collarlettes” which she is to give the girls. At night she & I went over to Davis’s to the Christmas tree (a clothes bars

!) and Mary & Lura & Mrs. B. & Edith & all the Davises - including Kate were there and we had a very jolly time and lots of nice things for everyone. The girls sang “Mandalay” & "Old Kent Road" and some German things afterward and I took a flashlight group - as usual of all who would pose (not Mother, Lura or Mrs. Davis). 26th Wed. Claude went to the Wilkinson's for a week and Edith Andrews came here & staid til Saturday (29th) We had pretty good times considering she had her tonsils cut the first day and had to live on soup &c. Had luncheon at Sibley’s one day - and again (Saturday) at Powers Grill with Con - but the 30th Sun. theatre was forbidden. Sunday Mother's 63rd birthday. Con & Miss Dowling here to dinner a lazy evening - reading my Xmas books.
