over there in the pitch dark & rain - one lantern - lots of
mystery and lots of fun. Miss B.
played the Banjo for us. She's a sort of a "Lela Ellen
Pleinly
" girl - only worse - and then
made us play cards after
Mate's saying we didn't want to &
Ned couldn't &c.
Ned kept score & we played 6
handed Euchre. Mrs. M.
