chocolate, cake, and cold chicken and some nuts & started for the station in a snowstorm still - got there just in time to get tickets check, berth, & wire Frederica and Kiss Ned goodbye at the door - the man wouldn't let us out. I found a way thro' the gate, however, & we saw her in the "Virgil, Berth 11" and a stunning bleached hair actress with 4 diamond rings opposite! She kissed her hand goodbye as the train left at 6:30 (on time) and Edith & I just caught our car. Found the family & Dem chatting in the dark by the fire & later we had nuts & cider & read a little. Dec. 4th Monday. Good sleighing to-day. Did a little Xmas shopping this noon. Edith was in in the afternoon (twice) for a few minutes. In the evening Dem, Mama & I went to the World's Fair stereoptican entertainment at our church. It was very good and very well managed indeed. I quite enjoyed it. We sat up on the right side. Mr. Gilmore said he dreamed about Ned & me last night. Dec. 5. Tuesday Very cold. Got up rather early and went to the W.N.Y. & P. station with "Aunty Dem". Got back to the office at 8:15! Did a little more shopping today.
