Got home for lunch, unpacked & "settled". Dressed & took a car about 5, stopping at the office a minute to see the "Force", who greeted me effusively. Found Ned & Edith on the piazza & visited them a long time. Then had supper and all went up to Elsie's

. Dorothy & another little girl were "having a picnic" over in the park, & we watched them from the piazza. Met the Greenwood girls, who are visiting Mae. Had a chat with Will, also, when he got home. I do like Elsie
. Then we went down on Edith's steps again & pretty soon dear Mazy came - looking quite bewitching in one of her "trousseau" buff & blue ginghams - & so happy. She invited us up to see
