's it was quarter of 12 and Mr. M. and Miss Blackmore (or "Miss Banjo" as Carl calls her) were sleepily sitting up for us. We had a nice little room and a very easy bed. I forgot to say that after (dinner) Mate showed us thro' the Bunnell cottage which is next to - but out of sight of theirs. We had a hemlock under our pillow. Aug. 27. Sunday. I was about 8:30 by the time Ned & I got over to "Wayback" from "Rock Glenn". - After hearing an animated conversation about the Fair from two young men in the front next room &c. There was time before breakfast, however - and the between whiles we always spend on the front piazza looking off across the Lake (a beautiful view) and watching Mannin
