did - one game. Mr. Turpin and against Mrs. T & "Theo" - of course they beat - 6-4. Saw the Alligators Mr. T. brought from Florida - also some bantam chickens. Then went into the house - which is the old Quaker church - downstairs - and fixed up so cute! When I got home mended gloves. Papa read some. June. 29. Thurs. Still another lovely day. Must be fine at the Fair. Ned came for me to help her pick out Edith's birthday present to-night and we looked at rings. She wanted me to come down this eve, but I got to cleaning my wheel, and then must needs take a spin & Belle Cotchefer

called me in & showed me the dogs & got out her wheel & we went up to The Park - and to the Bridge forsooth! Picked 5 daisies & came back. Went down the Avenue & up & down Spring St. and then I sat on Belle's
piazza & drank "Toast water"
