Dec. 6th Sunday. Nice bright day - I took prints of our pictures (awful!) developed yesterday. About 11 I went to Mary's & made an appointment for later. Then went to Ned's (found her in full dress) and after a great deal of fussing & posing & tripod-ing &c. &c. took her big "ballet" picture (I suspect I didn't focus it, after all) and then two little ones - for she moved in one. Then we dressed up in my rented wig and she took two foolish - foolish ones of me and I one of her. Then I went to Mary's & found them ready & after taking down a few pictures & disturbing the furniture generally I took " Chimmie" .& " Liz" - but they both laughed (Ned moved in her 12 seconds, too) I was just taking Liz alone with the little camera where Warren Fisk arrived- and there was scurrying! Of course I Knew we couldn't get Mary down stairs again - so I look them each up- stairs and after draping Emma's shelves with a kitchen apron. We had great fun - There's something irresistible about Mary as "Chim". They invited me very very cordially to stay to dinner (with Warren), but I didn't. Was busy enough at home and after dish washing and pressing out Harold True's white ducks I went to church with Mama & heard a sermon on
