tandem - "Rilbe" Punnett on an Eifel Tower
wheel. Old Father time on an 1868er
and polar bears, monkeys, frogs, Indians,
Mephisto - baby tandems - Jap - companion! wheels. A lady in
blue with a duster & sunbonnet. Mr. Pond &
Mr. Brewster on their companion wheel - a "little
red school house" &c.&c. They passed twice - some of them many
times. Then they had races - miles & 2-miles - & 1/4 miles -
& "ordinarys" & fatmen's - & the
bands played - and a man photographed and people chattered & watched
& it didn't rain. We staid till the last
thing was done - sending up a baloon with a bicycle order on it. Got
a car without serious trouble and got home about 6:30. Saw many
funny costumes coming & going - Uncle Sam's - Free
