Mr. Bangs spoke to me just as I was getting on the train. We did enjoy the ride to Sea Breeze. It was beautiful country - a boarding house lady behind us entertained a new boarder - a railroad man. She'd "sent to Boston for a fountain"! Sea Breeze lawn is nicely laid out - wanted to take it's picture, but no one would pose beside it. Took a cute Italian peanut boy as he disappeared down a path. Also Mama & Ned on the brink of the hill. The lake was lively - blue - cool & beautiful. Many bicyclists came across the sand - Gordon was one. A boat was just going, but we waited for the next - lying on the warm sand for an hour or two. I took Ned's picture there & got some good poses of Mama &c but my shutter refused to work! We built Arenas in the sand - planted blue bells and talked & rested. When the boat came our pretty girl got on too. Also the "Royal family" - Kings of Reynold St. It was quite rough & rolly going over to Summerville. I had to keep my arms around the "girls" to keep warm. A man played an accordion - & a red-headed boy amused us. It was rather late when we reached Summerville & we were hungry & frowsy. Went to
