train with me, where we saw Chas - Robinson (the groom) & the Will Churchill & Mrs. Ford - &c. Met Ned & I went home with her. Then she went to the car with me. A beautiful moonlight night. Apr. 26 Sunday An ideal spring-wheeling day - Mary, Alice (who got a new Crescent Friday) Warren F. & Harry S. went to the lake (I rode up with Warren yesterday) I went to church with Mama & enjoyed it - but it was a tired day for me. Stopped for Ned to go home to dinner with me. She gave me some little presents - a fan & a bonbon dish &c. Edith was there. We had quite a visit before dinner & afterwards in the kitchen. Stopped at Mac Arthur's on our way home - to leave a message for Mary. A little after four, Mother, Ned & I went on a Cobb's Hill car way out to "The Davis Ranch" & Mama went thro' the house &c. &c. Louis Saunders was there & the Hoyts (at first.) Lura came later. We didn't stay very long. Ned left us at the corner. It had grown cold & I shivered - everyone admires my new dress. I sat in the most luxurious attitude I could master & read till 9:30 when Mama announced supper. I was hungry enough - & then sleepy!
