This afternoon (about two) I went out and took a snap at the
building & another at the entrance - Now the Sibley
triangle is away & I had my Kodak with me. Gilmore is
still sick - J.W. away & we so busy!

Cool & cloudy. Rode down with Mary
this morning & went shopping at noon - new tan shoes - which I
wore home. Tonight Mary,
Miss Scott & I went to see Kathryn
Kidder in "Mme Sans Gene". It was fine & she
was my cute - especially after becoming the Duchess of
Dantzig. The scenery was very good indeed - & the
costumes gorgeous. She is very attractive tho' not at all pretty. In
the "trying on" scene, especially, she made me think of Eva.
We walked home with Miss Scott & then with each
other.
Apr. 25 Sat.
Fine day. A telegram from Ned says
she's coming tonight. I wore my new shoes & found I had a corn -
which dis- tressed me so I went & had it "pared" at a
chiropodist's at 5:30. Was late to supper in consequence - very. Went down
to
Freddie's & saw their new wall paper
& cleaned & re-arranged house. Then we went over to
Edith's & she hardly spoke to
me at first because I didn't meet her Thursday (tho' I sent a full
explanation by Mary) - She did
condescend to go to the
1896.
