(with different colored ribbons.) I played with Mr. DeGraff first. We played 10 games & I won five (always so!) Hattie Brower got (8 games) first prize - a lovely gilt belt with enameled bucket. Mr. Benedict (who won 9 games) a satchel marker. "Cunny" got a brownie & Frank D. an Easter rabbit filled with candy. We had a nice lunch - salad & ices &c. and didn't get away till 12:30 (the last car to the corners) Bert

walked up with us. I crawled in bed after one Apr. 7 Tuesday Used up this morning. Arrived at office after J.G., J.W. went to N.Y. Got our tickets for tonight. Got my flood photographs at Hovey's - 24 good out of 24 (the 3rd perfect dozen) Walked down with Claude tonight & met the girls - Mary, Emma & Edith & went to the Baldwin's performance. The first part was rather slow - Tho' one young fellow was rather clever & there was a good take-off on Grand Opera&. The last - where Mrs. Baldwin is hypnotized & made clarvoyant is simply awful - Especially as her husband is a regular Svengali simply terrible. She answered all sorts of questions from all over the audience - apparently quite correctly - Poor woman, I'm sorry for her. It lasted real late - I won't try to tell about it.
