a tandem! Had quite a chat with them. It seems Arno had run way from them - with the big camera & with no explanation! We were early, so took a spin thro' the city (?) of Scottsville, and then a slow ride over to the Erie Station - stopping at the Genesee River bridge a long time, to eat another apple and watch the beautiful reflections. The station was quite gay with people going in for returns (quite different from the last time!) Mr. C.S. Ellis came and on the train were Ed Nolan with a crowd - one of the Churchill's &c. &c. We got in at 5:55 and had time to call on Ned a minute before supper. She arrived this p.m. on the Empire. Brought me a lovely picture of Duse and a bicycle pin. Found a letter from Charlotte asking me down to a room in Power's Block to hear "returns", and after a jolly supper, where we all "swapped experiences" I dressed a doll for Edith Andrews & then Mama & I went down (stopping for Mary) Mr. & Mrs. Davis were there & Charlotte & Lura & Frank brought Louis Saunders, Harry Gould & two other Co. A boys & Helen brought Miss Brown of the Y.W.C.A. We could see the bulletin on the German Ins. Bldg. and the crowd tooting & howling below & Mr. Stowell brought in
