Stopped at Capt. Hamilton's fish house to get (Alice) some pictures of Gurdon in his white duck sailor suit. He looked real cute. I took several of the groups that were posing him and Alice took me in the act. The fish house is an interesting spot. Capt. H. came up in his boat while we were there & Wiltsie asked him to take us sailing, but he had another party. It was a fine day. Over on the dunes Wiltsie & I reclined a long time - and Alice later - when she had changed G's clothes. The ocean was perfectly beautiful - and the most delightful salt breeze wafted inland. After awhile I got on my wheel and went up toward Wells a mile or so - and sat on the top of a dune awhile - watching ocean & river - and then rode back - Found much quicksand that end. Found Wiltsie & Alice had moved to a warmer(!) place as we started for home Mrs. Perrin came along. She had been to Wells Beach by the road & back by the beach, alone. I "dressed" for supper. Found Miss Iles card in my room - with address &c. She leaves tomorrow morning - wants to meet me again - is going to write to me &c. I'm to send her blue prints. She's a mighty nice girl and I "like her style" immensely. After supper we all went up to Mrs. Day's
