able for the fog. We came around another way thro' town and I passed my 1800th miles near the R.R. station. The wind was behind us & the hills mostly our way coming back but it was hotter. A fine road tho' - I rode with Miss Iles awhile. Then with Mrs. Perrin a while and then again, ditto. I like them both very much - & Mrs. Perrin too - rather unexpectedly - she is real funny & cute and the way she calls "George

" and "Jennie
". By the time we got home it was a after two. I changed my clothes & we had a jolly little dinner together (more ice cream), Mrs. Perrin looking on. Then we all made a "bee" cleaning our own wheels. I went after vaseline for the purpose (in the hot sun!) About 4:30 Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Perrin Miss Bradley & I started for a bath. The children were there already. Miss Iles & Mr. Perrin came too, for a little while. The water seemed real cold but I did enjoy it. Went out with Mrs. Nutter and tried to swim in. Marguerite did swim a little & Ruth
can fine & began floating & swimming on her back today. A big wave ducked me "entirely" but I didn't mind anything but my hair.
