Castle asked us into the parlor (with only relatives
and May Rogers before the wedding march.)
& Bob & Geo. Masters
came in & the two cunning little Castle girls -
in pink & white - holding ribbons - and Peg, in
blue & white organdie & pink roses - & Mr.
Arnold &
Matie - in white organdie (low!) and bride
roses &c. They were married & kneeled on white satin
cushions amid palms & flowers &c.&c. & then the kissing
went on to quite an alarming extent and after awhile we all got
seated - and to my surprise I found myself at the bride's table!
(next Will, again) (I forgot to say
Bob kissed me - but now I've sworn off kissing grooms
- for good) The breakfast was nice & Matie & Bob received telegrams &c.
& finally retired to dress & we loaded up with rice and gave
them some when they came out. Everyone (most) went to the station -
The "12 P's" - Con, Harold True & many of the
relatives & guests. They took the Empire State & waved us
"goodbye" from the back door. Very bridey nedeed. I rode back to
Mrs. R's in the car with
Mrs. Castle, Charlie Arnold &
wife, Mrs. Weaver, Lura, Miss Hutchinson & Helen Davis. Got dressed & went to
the Lyceum
for tickets for tonight - to wear off the effects!
