Fri 1911 Another lovely day - but cool & windy. Jim went to Coburg. J.G. was up in the morning (with his foreign pictures &c.) Lunched at Cafetaria & went to see a moving picture of a head - on collision &c.Hy. & Chan came down this p.m. & saw the Volunteer firemen's parade from Mrs. Fahey's. CF. took Henry home & got his banjo. I went there to supper & later to call on Fred & Clara Boyce & stopped at Davis's for four-space. Sun 1912 A cloudy gloomy day. Slept late & had a late breakfast. Then Mother & I went to Cro'nest and aired out, and stayed to read and write till nearly four. Had a late dinner, at home, of course, and a quiet evening. Mon 1913. The dear Bluff again (& a breeze) Later had a lovely bath in the surf with Miss S. & "Tummy" (Miss S. in Mr. Weidner's sent) That party went in p.m. Mary & I walked to Desbrough's & sat in the grove & talked. It was lovely. (Saw a boat!) after supper the Weidner's joined us on the Bluff & later Mr. Stout (see mem.) & we had a nice visit - the W's are limited but he proved inexhaustible (we found later) & very entertaining. Tues. 1914 Lunched alone early & went to the hippodrome. To Claude to supper but there was no band concert so we didn't stay late. Rode home at 5 with Jim & Helen.
