38FEBRUARY 7 Mon. 1910 Very cold morning but got a little warmer during the day. Went to station with Nan who took the 8:53 which was on time (They are mostly late) Home at noon - I did all JW's work again. Hanna
told me his girl - troubles this noon - Hippodrome about 5 (left office early & tired) & then home for a rest. Fred telephoned us over the new 'phone. Read "Everybody's" tonight & went to bed early "uppy - 'tairs" as Henry used to say. Tues. 1911 Blizzard last night. Mother has a bad cold. Came home to lunch & rode down with Reba. Not very busy. Tonight saw such a nice picture - show "The Doctor" - & got home in time to help get supper. Mother & I played flinch - went early for a bath & bed. Wed. 1912 Milder. Mother came down this pm. & we had the children
to dinner (Nana went to the matinee) got out Burgess' little house for them & they were delighted. Feel pretty "rocky" tonight & didn't do much my teeth feel tender. Fri. 1913 Blustery. Went home with Lura tonight (carrying a lamp shade) & had such a delicious supper. Read aloud to them & talked & then came home & took a bath. Sat 1914 It was a stormy day & dark and I worked straight thro' till five on my Manas accounts! got off my trial balance &c. see mem.
