275SEPTEMBER 23 Fri. 1910
Beautiful misty sunrise. Had
an early breakfast with Will &
Elsie and then went down with them
in the launch to meet "the milk". The four boys from the other camps came down
too. They saw a flock of 35 ducks on the way. Spent the morning reading "[illegible]
Sanderson" in front of the big grate fire and went up to the
reservoir room to take a picture. After dinner was settled, Will, Elsie, Edith & I took a
4 mile walk up the wood road thro' Spencer clearing to
Perry Clear- ing. The view there is beautiful - & the
foliage! Dark tho' we were gone 2 hours. Later I took
Hattie rowed the lake which was like glass. Will & 2 boys went hunting. He gave
Edith & me a canoe ride this a.m. got
off on the Island. Fan tan tonight.

Mother combed him &c. & then he went.
I stayed at the office this p.m. and went to Lura's to dinner - with Charlotte & the we 3 went over to the Industrial
Exposition. It wasn't much but I enjoyed being with the girls had a
good time

Tues. 1913
Lovely night (but coolest)
Mary B.

popcorn fritters - and came home as the fireworks were going off.
