Sun 1910 Beautiful morning. Father
& I went to Cro'nest early &
Mother & I went to dinner. It
was beautiful - bird watching & all we ate in the piazza. Channie by me & Henry by Gran'ma. It rained afterward - I stayed all the p.m. &
played with my darlings & read to them - They were so lovely.
Nannawas going out except for the rain.
Read on the back piazza when I came home - & inside.
Mon 1911
Cooler, thank goodness - &
lovely. Claude
saw W.H's children's pictures &
says they are beautiful. We went to the first night of
Anspacher's play "The Glass House" tonight - a
large & brilliant & enthusiastic audience. Claude went with the Carnahan's. It was a
very cleverly written play.
Wed 1912
A rainy morning - Went to the
office & worked till the last minute (11) & met Bess &
Mary (& mother) at the station. Got to
Utica comfortably with a nice lunch & spent 2
row's with Helen Sayles in the station (it rained). Went
on to No. Brookfield at 4:45.
Mr "chid" Barron was on the train - Mr.
Pintler & the 2 horses met us & we drove to
Hilbrook Farm - lovely "Ida
" was at the door - A good supper in a lovely old room. Washed
dishes & visited until after 11. Had a lovely
room and slept well.
