Went to Cafeteria alone. Then shopped. A beautiful day,
but a busy one (Miss Mc
& I alone - "Ethel" not back yet) Read "Imperator & Rex" tonight

A rainy day. Came home this noon. Went to the Hippodrome with
Em tonight - not much good.
July 22 Wed.
Rather uneventful. Lunched with Bess &
Mary Belle & shopped for camp. Made blue
prints
July 23. Thurs.
postals &c. Tonight (at 5:30) went up to Prince
Street & called on Louisa (Wilson) Saw little
Charlotte
had gone to Mrs. Dan
forth's with Katherine. Mal & Mrs. W.
home & cleaning. Had iced tea &c. Read again tonight.
July 24 Fri.
Fine morning but Cloudy later. Went to Nan's
for a brushing. Mother went driving with
Jo, Letitia
& the babies this p.m. Henry went to the
Zoo. He was delighted with the birds but likes OO-li-oos (horses)
best! He says OO-ka-da man - do. (look at the man
work) now. The dear.

& I went down to Duffy's, where we
