Dec. 16. Wed. Lura and I went to see Maude Adams tonight in "What Every Woman Knows" - a charming - Barrie - play. She's a young Margaret Ogilvy & he's an impossible Scotsman with no inkling of humor - but fine. Dec. 17-19 Thurs.-Sat. Snow-stormy and Christmas - shopping - With Letitia, Miss Flack, alone, & otherwise. Dec. 20 Sun. Up early to do packages & make prints - but didn't accomplish much. Just as we were ready for dinner. Mr. Stratton, Ben, Bob
. "Aunt Frank", Uncle George
& Edith came in the big red bubble & we went to Fairport in 30 minutes! simply flew. Got back at 3:30 or so and then had dinner & did up packages all the rest of the time! Dec. 22 Tues. Called on Mary Little tonight (she'd invited me to a reception & a Xmas tree) & had a nice chat. Met the Livingston Little's too, who lost their little Katherine
two years ago - so tragically in Panama. I am so sorry for that handsome young mother. Dec. 23 Wed. To Nan's tonight for my brushing & all the gossip. Cold & bright. Dec. 24 Thurs. Snow this morning, but a dark pm. Left about five for Henry's party. Letitia's two little friends Gladys & Monica. The Rulifson children, Jno
& Adelaide
and two Remington's. It was very cunning, a pretty tree and a nice supper & everyone, including Chandler, behaved
