and Frances came and F. & Henry
were so dear together! He adored her - brought her
loads of play things &c. and finally their little play at kissing each other
goodbye was lovely - After each "bout" (She chased
him to kiss him) He would cry "Again. Again!!" She's quite a bit bigger - all
over - than he is. He had on his little brown suit for the first time. It's
becoming - but makes him look so boyish - and so little,
too. In the evening I went over and had quite a nice long visit with Herma who is full of her house-keeping experiences
and her house.
Feb. 1. Mon.
The picture - puzzle craze has us in its grip!! Took one to Bess & Mary
this noon. Tonight Mother & I went to
Marguerite Rowe's graduation from
No. 14 Kintergarten training school. Mrs. Montgomery made a very nice speech. M. looked sweet all in white and with my gold beads. Had pretty
presents.
Feb. 2. Tues.
It stormed hard at noon. Went over to Seel's
with Miss Flack, for lunch, & we found
Lura
there and afterward went over to the Hippodrome
& looked at moving pictures a whole hour!
Father read Collier's aloud tonight
and I did "In the good old summer time" puzzle which Bess
had cut out - a very clever & interesting one, too
Feb. 3. Wed.
Fine winter weather. Claude got home tonight
& Chandler walked alone to his satchel.
He also got thro' 2 of the teeth which have bothered him since the middle of
November! Mother
and I went up for a little while tonight - to
