Marion Wright & Miss. Gridley and Miss Ford & Miss Balson and Helen. Had tea and sandwiches and then rode walked up to Lura's with Helen for a little visit. Frank& Lilian were down. Rode home rather early. Dec. 18 Mon. to Dec. 22 Friday Finished up shopping (very little) Saw about a green Velvetina coat - staid down to lunch twice - Saw the P.O. all fitted up with mail. Did up presents every night but one &c.&c. Humid dark, warm weather. Dec. 23. Sat. We actually closed a little after one. (J.G. went home at 12, not even wishing us a Merry Chrismas) J.W. gave me my usual gold piece and one for Emma Davis! which I took over to Meta to give her. After the finishing touches at home, and taking a 4x5 picture of the poor old Orphan Asylum - I delivered Xmas packages to MacArthur's (where I saw Emma's baby, Mrs. Whitten &c) to Lura's (office) Davis's (Hamilton & Mrs.D ) rode down with Edith & went to her house and to Dr. Lee's hospital to see Mae Stull. (She leaves tomorrow) She was just finishing a squab & I hurried home to supper - afterward, I took a picture of our "pudding".
