This P.m. (Labor Day) I stopped over at Davis to tell about a flat for Hamilton & then went to Claude's office and he invited me to the Ball Game. It was fun tho' Toronto did win 2 to 1 & a very good game- to see "Steamer Flannigan" swipe a sizzler &c. &c. Sept 9. Mon. The past week we have been "entertaining" Miss Garfield more or less ( Mother mostly) They went to Fairport on the canal (They enjoyed Brockport so much) &c. She left for Walton (via - Windsor Beach & Oswego!) this a.m. I went up and took more pictures of little Hal Yesterday ('cause he was a whole year old Friday!) and he was such a dear. In his blue & white jumpers with a "potit" and a "howy" in it! Then I went down to Bess - H - Mary Belle's & saw their lovely mountain pictures! This morning school began. Everything very quiet at the office. Dear Claude has a bad cold. Jim has gone to Nantucket again. Lura took a week vacation but is still tired out - & Mother is tired out too. I fear. I move back to my own dear room tonight - and Papa to his. Sept. 15 Sun. We went to Watkins Glen today. Mrs. Flack, Ethel, Carol, Ella Mc Affrey and I on an 8:20 excursion. It was a lovely day - tho' rather warm.
