Dec 19-20 Wed & Thu Busy shopping days. Lunched with Mother Wed Thu. Did up packages. Called on Meta &c. Dec. 21 Fri.

Lunched down town. Did a few errands. Edith Andrews was expected tonight on her way home from Mexico
. She didn't show up till about eleven & Mr. Woodward, the principal, was escorting her! The short man - she talked quite awhile before bed That girl is certainly "the limit"! Dec 22 Sat. Snow. Went to Edwards'
with Edith in the morning. Finished my shopping. Got my furs. Mr. Kollefski (Edwards father) made from Mother's old mink ones and they were paid for by Bryant's Homer (Uncle's) which Papa sold for us $10.00. They are lovely Dec. 23 Sun. Called on Mal, Char's sister, and saw my dear nephew. He is a dear. Did up Xmas packages rest of the day & late in the afternoon delivered the Davises, Lura's & Marie's & Lura's. Mrs. Sackett was at Lura's and I stayed and had a rabbit & some all. Lovely snowstorm Dec. 24 Mon. Snow & fine - gaiety & festivity pervades. Schanch in - & Smith was last week. At 5, went to Mac Arthur's (with the "bureau set" &c.) to Edith's, Mae's,
