Gadsbys" all the way home & Mother dozed. It was much colder & windier here & we got home - after much waiting - chilled through - but were glad we went. A very tiresome day. Lunched down town. Fri Dec. 7 Henry has been really sick this week & isn't gaining. I feel worried about the dear baby. Bed early. Sat. Dec. 8 Some warmer. Lunched in Seel's new "Tea Corner" & shopped some. Accts tonight. Sun. Dec. 9

Cro'nest again. Henry some better, but thin - It's adjusting his food - that ails him. He only weighed 10 lbs 2 oz Friday! Had a nice visit with Claude & Char. After dinner dressed up & went over to the Rogers. Had a long visit with Florence
 - all about her Thanksgiving in N.Y. &c. (with Clare
 & her family & Mabel) and the Belle came & made me stay to "tea" & we talked about "English life" &c. (She's just been there) till other company came - & I soon left. Stopped at the Mac Arthur's & had a nice little visit with all the family. Good new baby pictures. Mon. Dec. 10 Icy - but all the cars stalled so had to walked (with Theo) rode down this noon with Mrs. Brace (full of the Cat show & her "Gentian" &c.) JW. was "the limit". Read tonight. Tues. Dec. 11 Walking some better. Lunched down town with Mother & shopped. Wrote to Gertrude &
