Everyone got out and walked around - Later when we started, I had not dinner (N.G.) and then suffered a hot and dirty afternoon, arriving at the Terminal station at 5:20! Got a glass of milk & a sandwich &c. and took a coupè, with my trunk over to the Steamer Wharf. Got my state room (a fine one - $25 - $1.50) and spent the next hour washing up. I was certainly never so dirty in my life. nor had on such dirty clothes. Fortunately
