Oct. 20. Sunday. When we awoke in Mrs. Andrews' pretty guest room at 7:30 this morning we found it snowing & the ground covered! It kept up a good deal of the day & too. After ward breakfast Mrs. A & Mama walked & Dr. , Edith & I walked up to the Sanitarium & heard Dr. Grier preach in Liberty Hall. The sermon was good (he talked very slowly) & the people about quite interesting. We looked about the bldg. a little afterwards, & went up on the roof. The view of the valley was fine. The autumn foliage showing thro' the snow was a rare sight. We walked down past the old "Sem" (now a "Knipe cure.")

and had quite a chat before the people started off for Sunday School. I staid home & entertained Dem Bunnell, who came just as they left. I took a timed (guessed) picture of Mrs. A's hall. Mrs. A. invited Dem to stay to dinner - a very nice one - chicken & ice cream &c. &c. Afterward we visited more & played the Bible game - at which I disgraced myself as usual. Then Dem, Mama & I
