talked to the MacArthur girls on the piazza while Mary got ready. We rode over. Found Frank & Hamilton there. Charlotte had splashed a mud puddle on to her (with her wheel) We amused ourselves watching two June bridal couples- white gloves, hats & neckties, all complete. We decided the brides should change husbands to be suited well. We went into the main house and found the doorway all strewn with rice - still more June brides! Helen's train came in on time & she & Miss Whipple came off looking as fresh & sweet as could be. We walked down St. Paul St. with them to their car - and had a nice little visit. Helen told me about Com- mencement &c. Mary & I walked home. June 6. Thursday. Bright pleasant day. I went shopping this noon - spoon for Kate

& stuff for pillow. Tried to have Helen Davis & Miss Whipple & up tomorrow night, but Mary had made her arrangements, so I invited them for Saturday. Ned was up in the office for a little visit and tonight she & Edith
