I hurried home, had supper changed my dress (I'd fixed up my white hat - with violets. and Mama went with me up to Christ Church to the other wedding. Stopped at Miner & Fisk's about my wind guard - on the way. Otho took us up the aisle - over on the right & way up in front. The display of evening gowns & full dress in general was something gorgeous! Carrie Gould & Bess Weaver in low-necked white silks - sat in front of me. Also Mr. & Mrs. Ben Chace. The Wrays sat up in front. Lois in her gorgeous pink silk, with flowers in her hair. Mae wore her wedding dress & looked well. John & his father looked very handsome - & so did Otho - and the groom, of course. He had a best man from out of town & there were 6 or 8 ushers & 6 bridesmaids - in white - with daisy & carnation boquets - first one - then two - then one &c. The bride looked very pale. She is a pretty girl. Her dress was gorgeous
