A very warm day. J.G. quite used up - poor man. Asked him if I could go to Harry's wedding at five this p.m. and he said "All the weddings you want to Miss B. if you don't get married yourself. That would complicate matters altogether too much!" Just before I took the car a shower came up & it poured. Mamma Nourse sought shelter beside me & invited me up Sunday, with Ned. Has lots to tell me about Lilla's change of plans &c. & wants to hear about our trip. She looked very nice & sweet. Got down to the church at last & Victor Chambers took me on his arm &
