Minnie Milne of Oswego is in the house (had a little chat with her last night) & "Mrs. Gertrude Williams" of R. May 28th Tuesday We were quite used up and slept rather later than usual. It was fresh and cool and beautiful - Blue sky & "puffy" clouds (as J.W. says) and pavements &c washed span clean. We dressed in our best clothes - cloth dresses & I wore my new hat and we sailed out about nine getting breakfast down on 14th St. (Dairy Kitchen!) for a change. Stopped at Macy's going down to the L station, & got a very pretty stud and link sterling waist set for 47¢! I'm going to give it to Martha Rathjen for doing the work while I'm gone. We got into
