May 13 Monday Cold & cloudy when I got up. Sat by the fire & wrote after breakfast. The sun began to shine a little but it didn't get warm. Read tonight. May 14. Tuesday Poured all day. J.G. went to Albany. Ned said she & Edith were nearly frozen Sunday - but got home Monday to warm flannels. I got a letter from Gene

Stopped raining about supper time but staid damp. May 15. Wed. Rode Diana again. Stopped at Mary's at 5:30 but she was not home. Visited with Emma & Nellie - who invited me to supper- but I didn't stay. Had a fearful headache all the p.m. - the worst I ever had. About 7:30 Frank Davis came to see if I wanted to go for a ride.
