dressed & got the horse out & we went down form & called on Helen Noyes Baker who looked as nice & natural as ever & gave me news of Margaret Brown &c. I saw Noyes - in trousers! He looks like Maggie is devoted to his Mother - but more of "the twins

" in him (as Mrs. A. says) than in "Hughey". Helen
had just started her little Kindergarten & let me look in. I took Lizzie
's picture (in an awful hat!) just before we got into the buggy. We drove all about town. Met Mama & Mrs. A. & other people we knew & finally L. left me at the house just as Edith was returning from school. While I was at dinner May Bunnell came for me to help her take some interiors with the Kodak - So I did afterward. We took 7 picture - all timed! The Dr. took us to the 3:30 train (tho' we were both urged to stay longer) & we had hardly started down the valley before traces of snow began to disappear. It was really a lovely afternoon.
