Mary was up a few minutes on her wheel. Put up the new parlor curtains this morning. My room & Claude's being cleaned. Apr. 24. Wed. Went and saw Fisk about another saddle & handle bar & he is going to change the wheel, so I won't ride this one. Devoted the evening to arranging my room which looks very pretty indeed - Tired out. Apr. 25 Thurs. Lovely day to ride - but no ride. J.W.C. went to N.Y. tonight. This evening Edith & Frederica came up and I had a nice call. Papa came while they were here. He has been away a long long time. Apr. 26. Friday. Still no news of my new wheel. Hope I shall get it soon for it is lovely riding. Mary wanted me to ride tonight too. Mama & I went shopping. Got her a bonnett and Papa's birthday things &. Papa got a new suit, shoes and underwear &c. We are all blossoming out. I had a 12 page letter from Ned. This evening Frank Davis was up. He admires "Diana" very much indeed. Think Charlotte will get a "Royal". Had a
